Love is in the air on a daily basis. Sooner than you least expect it, you find yourself dating an attractive woman. You two don’t begin to kiss until after a couple of dates. It’s the second date. The movie finally ends. You’e driving your date home. Once you arrive there, you escort them to the front door to their house. She’s fidgeting with her keys. You observe the sign and take action by moving close enough to her and kiss. She returns with a kiss. You two end up making out for an additional 5 or 10 minutes before parting ways. You wake up the next day and go straight to the bathroom. As you’re looking at yourself in the mirror, you notice some kind of bruise on your neck. That’s a hickey, and there are ways to speed up the process of it disappearing.

Ice

Whenever you get a bruise on any part of your body, the first thing that you mostly do, or should do, is apply an ice pack or bag of ice to the affected area. Hickeys are essentially bruises. Therefore, treat hickeys in the same exact way you generally treat bruises. Don’t apply ice with too much pressure. We just want to cool the hickey slightly.

Vitamin C

Besides promoting immune system health, Vitamin C may also help reduce inflammation which may arise from bruises and hickeys.

Orange Juice

If you’re against the idea of taking a Vitamin C supplement, then try drinking orange juice. Orange Juice is a prime source of taking Vitamin C orally. It’s also a perfect alternative to Vitamin C pills.
